    Certified Prevention Specialist
Why become a Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) through The Camel Project?

It starts with you, but it's not about you!

The Camel Project's Certified Prevention Specialist Program is now PA. Dept. of Education Act 48 Approved.

The Certified Prevention Specialist curriculum is a unique perspective for parents, educators, administrators, public safety members, business leaders, and other community stakeholders/influencers. Unlike other bullying prevention/elimination programs, which focus only on the behavior of the youth or only provide an outline for stakeholders to follow, we believe the key to solving the bullying crisis is to work in person with stakeholders who have influence over larger groups and provide them with a framework with action steps they can take towards eliminating bullying.

As a leader in your community, you will increase your knowledge and understanding to recognize and identify the need for all community members to thrive in a safe, non-judgmental, and caring environment as an advocate in addressing Bullying and other aggressive learned behaviors, inclusivity, and equity programs that foster a positive climate. In addition, the CPS program Deconstructing the Culture of Bullying: Preventing Bullying-Based Violence in our Schools & Communities will help you improve your mental and emotional health, build more vital social & relationship skills, and manage stress.

Unresolved bullying behaviors in young people, if not interrupted, often result in bullying behaviors in adulthood.  Bullying affects 79.3 million Americans in the workplace. The CPS program educates, equips, and supports communities to set standards with tools, strategies, and a wellness plan to address the destructive issues of trauma and abuse that stems from the aggressive learned behavior of Bullying. We deconstruct the culture of Bullying and the connection between emotions and behaviors resulting in chronic toxic adults.

The Certified Prevention Specialist Program: Deconstructing the Culture of Bullying; Eliminating Bullying-Based Violence provided by The Camel Project can be used toward fulfilling the continuing education requirements for teachers and other educators under Pennsylvania Act 48.
